Iām a London based photographer, conservationist and researcher with a particular focus on wildlife and conservation photography.
My work has taken me all over the world with my portfolio spanning more than ten years of wildlife, landscape and street photography. From the deserts of Ethiopia to the rainforest of Congo, I have always been obsessed by photography and as a conservation biologist I have been lucky enough to be able to marry my two passions.
I am currently the programme officer for the Sustainable Use and Livelihoods Specialist Group (SULi) of the IUCN. My work involves coordinating a global expert membership, contributing to technical outputs and implementing programmes that promote the sustainable utilisation of natural resources, The ultimate aim being to ensure that biodiversity conservation aligns with the well-being and livelihoods of people dependent on these resources. I collaborate with a diverse array of stakeholders, including policymakers, local communities, and conservation experts, to develop innovative approaches that foster coexistence between humans and nature. I truly believe that conservation is as much about human communities as well as ecological ones.
Through my work I have been able to travel to some of the most ruggedly beautiful landscapes on earth, and photographed incredible wildlife, people and places, from radio collaring lions in the lowveld of South Africa to chasing around macaques in the rainforests of Central Thailand. You will find many of my favourite images on this site and I hope you enjoy looking through them.
